Jonathan was a youth of mine ages ago when I was a youth minister. He and his sister were two of my favorites. I loved his entire family, actually, so when he contacted me about officiating his and Allyson’s wedding, the answer was an immediate YES! In a quaint, family-only ceremony at St. Mark’s chapel, they officially became Mr. and Mrs. I feel so fortunate that I could marry these two and still be connected after so many years apart.
Another couple close to my heart – Jonathan and Sammy were in my college group several years ago, and we’ve stayed close friends. I was so happy to officiate their wedding after seeing their love grow throughout the years.
